Eliciting and validating knowledge in Knowledge Management Systems

A knowledge market perspective is suggested to (i) elicit new contributions and (ii) identify higher quality content. Case studies from Siemens and HP, illustrate their application, and are used as a frame of reference to devise some preliminary steps in designing knowledge markets inside the boundaries of a firm. © 2008 IEEE.
