Facile two-step construction of a novel tetrathiamacrotricycle

Through two simple steps a total of four C−C and one C−S bond are installed with a high level of regioselectivity in the formation of a tricyclic polythiamacrocycle from 4,7,10-trithiatrideca-2,11-diyne.
