Driving simulators are increasingly used for research and development purposes; they are generally safer and more cost-effective tools for evaluating new vehicle designs and increasing road safety. An investment in driver training through driving simulators can significantly improve road safety and reduce the number of fatalities, without the risk of collateral damage and injury.
