Island Connect: final report
The aim of the Island Connect project is to engage Sri Lankan youth (aged 15 – 29) in an inter-cultural dialogue using a variety of digital technologies to facilitate connection and learning through story. The project uses media documentaries and digital stories to enhance cultural awareness and cross-cultural understanding among different ethnic communities. This project incorporated aspects of the international ChildFund Connect program, transferred to a localized context – in this case to use technology to support intra-country, cross-cultural connection and learning in Sri Lanka.
