Research statement

The Liveable & Smart Melton Strategy will improve operational efficiency, achieve higher levels of sustainability, increase community participation, and improve the planning of infrastructure and services. The Liveable & Smart Melton Strategy incorporates the following guiding principles: • Safe and socially connected • Well built • Strong local economy • Thriving natural environment The Strategy identifies a mix of technology that will support the City’s future including the use of digital twin GIS data platforms, sensors for smart energy, water and lighting, public WiFi, Apps and integrated data management.
